Oracle

During my time at Oracle, I wore a diverse set of hats with extensive experience in Graphic Design, Product Design, Project Management, Program Management, Social Media Marketing, Marketing Operations, and Strategy.

I served as the 2022 Marketing Internship Program Manager, the Marketing Class of Program Manager, and in addition worked across training and development, operations, communications, strategy and recruiting channels.

Marketing & Design: 2022 Marketing Internship Program

The annual summer marketing internship program at Oracle brings together 20+ marketing interns a year for an hands-on, immersive and thrilling learning experience. My role as one of two program managers was to source, promote and recruit interns at a first stage. This involved reviewing 600+ resumes, and interviewing over 150 candidates. The processes of scheduling, coordinating and following up with both candidates, managers, and other key stakeholders was a heavy one.

While we worked towards filling up our roster of 21 interns, we began planning all the events, workshops, and executives we would bring it. With that, we also began planning our welcome campaign for both interns and mentors. Below is a compilation of some graphics I designed over the course of the year and summer for their experience.

This program is only a fourth or fraction of the work I did on the Marketing Operations team and it is since my most rewarding experience!

My teammate and I established Destination: Oracle as our central theme - giving a highlight to our biggest partnership that year with Redbull Racing. With this theme in mind, I developed a brand identity for the program including race cars, road signs, and more.

Internship Landing Page

Another aspect of the welcome campaign was developing a landing page to welcome interns to Oracle. This page includes an overview of the Oracle Marketing Internship experience, meeting their mentors and internship guides (me!), and guidance about making the most of the program.

The landing page was comprised of customized brand assets, Oracle customers and partners, as well as videos from previous interns lending advice and excitement to the new cohort.

Social, Email & Print Graphics

Throughout my time at Oracle, I’ve designed a high volume of graphics and assets used for social media, promotions, printouts, or internal use. Below is a highlight of some graphics I’ve been able to develop aligned with our Redwood Brand.

Global Social Media Marketing + Design

Prior to my work on the Marketing Operations team, I worked on Oracle’s Global Social Media team as both a designer and project manager. This team intakes 100+ requests a day, whille working with various stakeholders (managers, directors, designers and copywriters) to manage our high volume of requests.

I worked on a few of Oracle’s larger social campaigns — the Annual Virtual Road Trip and the Season of Giving. The virtual road trip highlights Oracle customers across the national and world, and we worked to create a cohesive Instagram feed (below). Similarly, our Season of Giving campaign was launched around the holiday season after I had proposed the idea to my team. The goal was to showcase Oracle’s giving, humanitarian, and sustainability efforts across the world in a “12 Days of Christmas”-styled countdown.

These campaigns alone received 1.7 million+ views and interactions. I developed 20+ videos and 100+ graphics in my time on this team.

Side Projects

Teams often reached out to our team, Marketing Operations, for support on others projects or tasks. One side-project and responsibility I held was serving as an Aria Badge Administrator — badges that Oracle employees would receive and display on their profiles as symbols of a certification or achievement.

I’ve worked with various teams, departments, and marketing pillars to develop custom Aria badges for their teams or Oracle globally.
